Obituary: Joseph Corben

Joseph Corben, 85, of Longboat Key, died Sept. 10.

Mr. Corben was born Sept. 23, 1925. He served in the 82nd Infantry Division, was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and was inducted into the French Legion of Honor.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his sister, Florence; two sons, Ronald and Bruce; and his four grandchildren.
