Mary Brown created the display of the King James' Bible for the wine and cheese reception. The King James' version wasn't the first English translation of the bible, but it is the Authorized Version to be read in church.

Wine and cheese were used to celebrate the soft kick-off of the 400th anniversary of the King James' Bible. The real anniversary is Oct. 9, and Church of the Redeemer is one of the local churches celebrating throughout the entire month of October.
