Bee Ridge Lutheran Church held an in-house potluck fundraiser Saturday evening for its flower fund. A winner was selected in the side, entrée and dessert categories by a vote of donation. The dinner was held in honor of Julia Keys-Williams, who its Fellowship Hall was named after. Keys Williams and her family were present at the event.
Alexandria Anderson-Whitteaker and Tatiana Connelly served the potluck dinner and lemonade with their two scout leaders.
Bee Ridge Lutheran members Kay Sanchez, Carol and Myles Lees, Dave Sanchez and Bob Bernard enjoy the food as much as each other's company.
Church member Sylvie Routier shows off her side-dish "Gallette de Mais."
Jane O’Neal holds her dessert dish: chocolate cake with strawberries and brownies with s’mores. She doesn’t know if her dessert will win, but it doesn’t seem that she minds either way.
Bee Ridge Lutheran Church's Rev. Karl Kling helps himself to a dish at the Potluck Fundraiser. The Fundraiser will raise funds in order for the church to continue having flowers on Sunday mornings.
Susan Kling, Mary and Bruce Livingston, Joseph Hochadel, Ann and Norman Widen enjoy the food from the potluck. After they eat, they will vote which dish deserves to win by placing a donation by that dish.

The entrees and sides went quickly at the Bee Ridge potluck fundraiser. It seemed the empty salmon dish was very popular.
The dessert table had around six types of desserts. Before people had finished their plates at the potluck, one dessert was winning with many donations.
Each dish at the Bee Ridge Lutheran potluck dinner had a tag giving the dish name and maker, and a donation cup sitting by it. The plate with the most donations would be the night's winner.
