Latin Chamber launches 'buy local' program

A local Latin chamber group is launching a campaign to encourage residents of Sarasota and Manatee counties to buy locally.

The Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce is launching a "Shop Chamber, Buy Local" campaign to keep local tax dollars in the community and support local businesses.

"Many residents of our community don't realize that it is their neighbors who are the small business owners here," said Frank Gomez, a chamber member and owner of Frank's Designs.
