Bird Key home sells for $2.4 million

David Stark, trustee, of Bloomington, Ill., sold the home at 476 Partridge Circle, on Bird Key, to David and Pamela Sowder, Bradenton, for $2.4 million. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, four baths, two half-baths, a pool and 5,267 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.7 million in 2007.

The Bird Key home sale was the top sale for the five Key real-estate transactions recorded Sept. 19 to Sept. 23 at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses.

Water Club I
Jeffrey and Jean Hamilton, Longboat Key, sold their Unit 404 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Isabella Paspa, trustee, Longboat Key, for $1.27 million. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 3,045 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,890,000 in 2006.

Beachplace III
Nelly Olsburgh sold her Unit 503 condominium at 1055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John Cowan, of Ontario, Canada, for $500,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $241,900 in 1983.

John Ringling Estates
Douglas Moore, Sarasota, sold his home at 239 S. Polk Drive, on Lido Key, to 239 South Polk LLC for $935,800. Built in 1950, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,890 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,275,000 in 2005.

Key Towers South
Peter and Beverly Rosedale sold their Unit 2-D condominium at Key Towers South, 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive, Lido Key, to Kevin Engelhardt, trustee, of Ossining, N.Y., for $530,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,403 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 1992.
