The Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key is still seeking nominees for its 2010 Longboat Key Citizen of the Year award. And this year’s award presentation promises to be an event attendees will love. The Kiwanis Foundation will hold its first Valentines Ball at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Longboat Key Club, to raise money for scholarships for local students. The event will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dancing, along with the presentation of the annual award. Tickets are $85.
