Bob and Lisa Morris have joined Signature Sotheby’s International Realty.

Lisa Morris is originally from Alexandria, Va. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in social work from Loyola University in Chicago before moving to Sarasota and specializing in luxury waterfront real estate.

With her husband and father, W. Howard Rooks, Morris formed new real-estate investment-and-development companies. They also founded Rooks Morris Real Estate, which focused on luxury waterfront real estate with a concentration on modern homes.

Bob Morris earned the distinction of Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America and was discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps with the rank of captain. He graduated from the University of Colorado and earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from Loyola University in Chicago. Prior to moving to Sarasota, he worked at Competitive Government Strategies, the Indianapolis mayor’s office and the office of U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar.

His commercial real-estate background includes experience in property development, multifamily residential development and out parcel build-to-suit transactions. He is also involved in retail-and-office investment property analysis, acquisition, sales, leasing and management.

The Morrises and their two children live on Lido Key.
