Watering restrictions still apply

Despite receiving notices from Manatee County about a twice-a-week watering schedule, residents of Lakewood Ranch should continue watering only once a week.

Although Lakewood Ranch residents get their drinking water from the county, their irrigation water comes from Braden River Utilities, which maintains its own watering schedule.

Lakewood Ranch Community Development District supervisors this week reminded residents to follow their existing schedule to avoid possibly violation fees.
