On May 8, Sarasota Sally and Etrusco Ristorante hosted a fundraiser for Our Mother’s House to raise funds to furnish the organization’s new apartments. About 200 people attended the event with entertainment by The Beach Monkeys, Derric Gobourne, a Michael Jackson impersonator, and Josh Sizemore, from Blue Collar Balloons. Donations have allowed the charity to expand its program this summer from 10 apartments to 17.
