Longboat Key amateur golf champion Arlene McKitrick is finishing 2010 on a high note. Earlier this month, she won the American Seniors Golf Championship at Innisbrook — her 161st championship win on the golf course. The first part of the tournament was difficult for McKitrick, whose glucose monitor wasn’t working in the 48-degree weather. But, suddenly, she got in the swing of things on the 16th hole and upped her game for the victory.
