As McNeal Elementary students celebrated the end of the fall semester with a Pajama Day Dec. 18, children in Amy Holland’s third-grade class also got a tasty lesson in mathematics.
As part of a measurement lesson, students made chocolate chip cookies in class.
“The kids were fully involved and did all the measuring and mixing themselves,” Holland said.
