Town budget module featured in Government Technology Magazine

The town’s new Fiscal Transparency Module is lauded in this month’s Government Technology Magazine as “an example for fiscal transparency.”

The module, which went live in February, uses fiscal data that feeds directly from the finance department’s database to display revenue and expenses to the public.

The tool also includes five years of current historical expenditure data, plus graphing tools and the ability to export data for further analysis, according to the story.
