+ Students erupt in smiles during lesson
Out-of-Door Academy first-graders performed an experiment with underwater volcanoes Wednesday in Lisa Cheney’s marine science room. While the students poured cups of vinegar into volcanoes made out of Play-Doh, the vinegar united with baking soda, causing the mixture to foam at the top and erupt over the sides like lava.
