Stolen vehicle recovered by authorities

Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies have recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested the suspect, Tydarian Moore, after pursuing him by car and with a canine.

A sheriff's office report states a deputy located a stolen vehicle, which had been reported missing hours before, near the 500 block of 63rd Avenue West.

The deputy followed the vehicle until other units joined the pursuit. The deputy attempted a traffic stop with negative results and the suspect fled. Another deputy deployed stop sticks near the 6800 block of U.S. 41, but the suspect's vehicle did not sustain any damage. A vehicle pursuit was initiated and the deputies followed the vehicle south toward Sarasota, along U.S. 41 and east on Martin Luther King.

The Moore soon bailed the from the vehicle, but quickly was apprehended by K-9 Chico.

The suspect sustained a dog bite on the right upper thigh area and was treated on scene by Sarasota County EMS. He was transported to Sarasota Memorial for further treatment before being taken to jail, the report states.
