Sheriff named to Florida sheriffs' board

Manatee County Sheriff Brad Stuebe on July 31 was named to the Florida Sheriffs Association's Board of Directors during a conference in Tallahassee.

The FSA unanimously elected Steube to represent District 4, along with Sheriff Arnold Lanier of Hardee County and Sheriff Al Lamberti of Broward County.

As a district director, Steube will be a voting member of the board, providing input on policies and other matters pertaining to the Florida Sheriff's Association.

District 4 includes Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Miami-Dade, DeSoto, Glads, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Lee, Manatee, Martin, Monroe, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, St. Lucie and Sarasota counties.
