Sarasota Police seek robbery suspect

Sarasota Police Department detectives are seeking a black male suspected of robbing a CVS on the 3700 block of North Tamiami Trail at 7:35 a.m. Sunday, April 14.

Friday, Sarasota Police released five photos a surveillance camera captured during the hold-up.

The man handed a note to a clerk demanding money, escaped on a bicycle, which he then discarded and fled on foot. Witnesses last saw the man wearing a dark knit cap, a dark jacket and jeans.
