Supervisors in Lakewood Ranch Community Development Districts 1 and 4 today approved extended contracts with their existing security provider, Allegiance Security.
Both boards, however, are planning to look for a replacement contractor.
CDD 1 supervisors approved a three-month extension with Allegiance, as they go out to bid for an alternative security provider.
CDD 4 supervisors approved an renewed annual contract with Allegiance with a provision to give 30 days notice to get out of the contract.
