+ Mote VIPs enjoy first look at ‘Survivors’
Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium’s new limited-time exhibit, “Survivors: Beautiful and Extreme Adaptations,” features special guests from the animal kingdom such as the peacock mantis shrimp, blue-ringed octopus and the Vietnamese mossy frog.

But Jan. 31, one day before the exhibit opened to the public, Mote gave invited guests a sneak peak of the exhibit.

The exhibit runs through Sept. 14 and showcases marine animals and amphibians that go to extremes to survive. Admission is free with paid admission to Mote.
