Manatee County commissioners will tackle a variety of issues, including flooding problems and indigent health care services, during workshops Oct. 17 at the Manatee County administration building.

At the 9 a.m. workshop, the board will hear a report on indigent health care services, reviewing the plan for the future year in the low-income pool program and results based on performance measures. They also will discuss Manatee County’s incentive program and recommendations to enhance the Southwest Tax Increment Financing District, created in 2014 to fund redevelopment within the district.

At the 1:30 p.m. workshop, staff will discuss the status of Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) for Manatee County as well as stormwater data, stormwater design standards, the Pearce Drain and Bowlees Creek watersheds. It will also review flooding in those areas.

The meetings will be held at 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
