Spring is in the air, and that means the Harbour Links swans are in nesting mode. But when it comes to nesting, birds of a feather don’t always flock together. Each of the three nesting swans has displayed its own preference when it comes to building nests. Vicki used hay that resident David Novak dropped off at her normal nesting site near the north entry of Bay Isles. Beverly chose reeds. And Wendy used leaves and twigs to build her nest in a well-hidden, dark spot. Each nest has approximately six eggs.
