+ Richard Magnus

Richard Magnus, 76, of Longboat Key and formerly of Levittown, N.Y., died April 2.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; he is survived by his children, William, Kevin and Rick; four grandchildren; and sister, Carol.

A service was held in Wantagh, N.Y.

+ Larry Marthaler

A celebration of life for Larry Marthaler will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at Café L’Europe on St. Armands Circle, across the street from where he created the Sarasota Ring of Fame.
