Laptops on the way

The organization is providing 175 laptops to students in need.

   Take Stock in Children of Sarasota County has begun delivering on its promise to help deliver laptop computers to students in need.

The group has received enough donations to provide 175 laptops with the goal of helping students more easily complete online assignments and attend virtual events.

The first 50 laptops were given to students at Booker Middle School with the next distribution planned for the end of May.
