Deputies arrest alleged Pinecraft prowler

Sarasota County deputies believe they have captured a prowler wanted for plaguing the Pinecraft community with incidents of indecent exposure, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

After an investigation, officers arrested 29-year-old Sarasota resident Stephon Parker early Wednesday, after surveilling the suspect in response to at least four complaints in the historical areas around Bahia Vista Street. He had allegedly exposed his genitals to a woman after deputies lost sight of his vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office has charged Parker with loitering or prowling and indecent exposure, while other charges are pending.
