Manatee County officials are preparing to reopen Upper Manatee River Road, at Rye Road, after closing the roadway due to flooding Sunday.
Manatee County Public Information Officer Nicholas Azzara said waters have receded and the road likely will reopen at 1 p.m.
"It's subject to closure again ifthere are heavy rains again this afternoon/ evening, as forecast," he said.
Two other roadways were closed: Taylor Road between state roads 64 and 70 off Wachula Road and the eastern end of Mulholland Road, in Parrish.
