GOING NUTS
8 a.m. — 3900 block of Overlook Bend Terrace
Dispute: An officer met with the supervisor for a roofing company who said a resident had thrown acorns at workers doing roof repairs a few days earlier. The supervisor said the resident was also yelling at the workers, and they moved all their equipment to a different unit until they could make contact with a property manager. The company was contracted to repair all the roofs in the subdivision. Officers could not reach the man who threw the acorns.

Nov. 12

CRACKING THE CASE
7:15 a.m. — 3300 block of Gillespie Avenue
Property Damage: A woman left her home in the morning and discovered that, sometime during the night, her car had been egged. The woman believed an ex-boyfriend of hers was responsible for the incident, but she was not certain of the identity of the suspect. Officers saw no actual damage to the car and provided the woman with a case number. The woman washed the eggs off of her car.

STUMBLING & BUMBLING
9:15 p.m. — 1500 block of Ringling Boulevard 
Property Damage: A woman reported her car had been damaged while she was out drinking with her friends. Officers discovered two depressions on the right side of the car, and determined the damage was consistent with that of somebody falling into the car. The damage was estimated at $500.
