Ted Cook used his 5-wood to record an ace July 28 on the 187-yard No. 15 of King’s Dunes.

Jim Lapides, Jay Lilien, Mike Dennett and Vito Melfi scored 53 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event on King’s Dunes Aug. 1.

Donna Forsyth, Kathy Cinque, Marian Wolfe and Dari Oglesby shot 114 to win the two best ball of four net WGA event on Cypress Links Aug. 4.

Harvey Neitlich, Mac McMillan, Richard Amesbury and Terry Poles scored 58 to win the two best ball of four net nine-hole Men’s event on Cypress Links Aug. 5.

Bud McAnallen, Wayne Howard, Rick Shaw and Bob Simes scored 123 to win the two best balls of four net Men’s event on Cypress Links Aug. 8. David Reed, Tom McManus, Larry Futch and Tom Baker scored 127 for second place.

Karen McClellan shot 32 to win the low putts LGA event Aug. 1. Liz Bostrom shot 33 for second place.

Jim Long and Ed Hechler finished +18 in two-man quota points to win to the Men’s Association event Aug. 5.


Angie Brewer scored 52 to win the low gross portion of the low gross, low net nine-hole event Aug. 4. Verla Heotis scored 44 to win the low net portion.

The teams of John McLaughlin, Dan Carter, Ron Boehm and Ken Hoffman and Skip Suereth, Geno Lutz, Dale Weidemann and Frank Schicitano both scored 85 to win the two best balls front, one best ball back MGA event Aug. 5.

The teams of Barbie Meindl, Barb Sodini and Linda Suereth and Nancy Foley, Lin McLaughlin, Linda Gawel and Mary Naylor each scored 138 to tie for first place in the one best ball net, one in box LGA 18-hole event Aug. 6.


Tim Eisenmann, John Kleis, Tom Kunzman and Gordon Neal shot 99 to win the two best balls of four MGA event Aug. 5 at the Meadows.

Nancy Kopnisky, Jane Paschke, Elaine Kulbanko and Gail Schaeffer scored 58 to win the one best ball of four Summer Guest Day event Aug. 4. Pat Brennan, Judy Mitchell, Karen Wilson and J. Wexler scored 60 for second place.

Arthur Whitson, Bernie Needell, Robert Greenbury and Jay Liden scored 81 to win the 1-2-3 on 6-6-6 MGA event Aug. 5. Jim Johnson, Jim Kopnisky, Hank Neuman and Dan Carter scored 82 for second place.

Mickey Seidholz and Marty Gersman both scored 15 to tie for first place in the odd holes LGA nine-hole event Aug. 6.


Bill Kiger scored 37 to win Flight 1 of the individual net stableford Men’s Day event Aug. 5. Gary Corson scored 38 to win Flight 2.

John and Kay Brocki scored 124 to win the two best balls of four mixed event Aug. 9.
