Four local veterans shared their military experiences with students at Freedom Elementary School Nov. 8 as part of "Bring a Vet to School" day, organized through BrightHouse Networks and the History Channel. Veterans also demonstrated how to fold the U.S. flag during the hourlong presentation.

The East County Observer chatted with students to find out what they’d learned. Scroll down for a video of the flag-folding demonstration.
