Dispute / fight

A man reported that while sitting with his boyfriend, a man walked up to harass them about an EBT card. The caller told the man to leave them alone, then followed him outside to take a photo of him. The man became upset and came back toward the men, threatening them with a bat.

4:15 p.m. Feb. 9 / 1400 block of 1st st.

Petit theft / shoplifting

A store's loss prevention manager observed a subject walk past the cash register with a six pack of beer, a bottle of wine and a sandwich without paying. The subject then came back into the store and walked out with a four pack of Sutter Home wine, another six pack of beer, a stuffed animal and two packages of stick-on mustaches. Again, she walked past the checkout area without paying and into the store's café area where she met with a man, and the two began drinking the alcohol and eating the sandwich.

The two stated that they were homeless and hungry. Both were issued a summons for shoplifting.

Counterfeit currency

A gas station owner reported that a woman passed a $10 counterfeit bill for four dollars in lottery tickets.

5 p.n. Feb. 7 / 700 block of Flint River Ct. 

Dispute / fight

A caller stated she had been in an argument with a juvenile neighbor about turning on her outside faucet and leaving it on. She had a large water bill last month and did not want one again. She said the teen got very rude and kicked her door, telling her to get her "old ass out here so she could kick it." The juvenile left upon the officer's arrival.
