+ SYC introduces Farm-to-Fork initiative
Sarasota Yacht Club (SYC) has implemented a new Farm-to-Fork initiative that includes more local fresh produce on its menu and new vegetarian offerings.

“The impact of this partnership can be seen from both an economic and a health perspective,” said SYC General Manager Bernhard Kloppenburg in a prepared statement. “We are helping the local economy by purchasing our produce from a local, family-owned business, and we are supporting healthier lifestyles for our members by providing them with the best produce our area has to offer.”

“I think it will straighten itself out in the next three or four weeks,” he said.
