+ Chamber sponsors two families through Adopt-A-Family
The Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee has adopted two families through Adopt-A-Family Manatee. The Adopt-A-Family chapter has served the community for 31 years, and this year marks the first in which it will operate under the Salvation Army.

The chamber is seeking cash or check donations to be mailed or dropped off at the chamber’s office at 5390 Gulf of Mexico Drive by Dec. 12. Checks can be made out to the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce. Ambassadors will then shop for gifts for the families, both of which have two children. The children range in age from 14 months to 10.
