A garden for tennis and art

The Resort at Longboat Key Club showcases artwork and photography by residents in the tennis gardens lobby.
by: Katie Johns Community Editor

When artists and photographers finish their work, it needs a home. The Resort at Longboat Key Club is one such place. Every 18 months, artwork by a local hangs in the entrance lobby to the tennis courts. On March 28, Gunilla Imshaug’s work was hung on the walls where it will be displayed for the next year and a half. During that time, the artwork can be purchased. The creations in the past have included themes such as local wildlife, beaches and South Florida lifestyle.
