Van Wezel's Friday Fest on Aug. 10 was nothing short of hot. The heat wasn't stopping the attendees of the free outdoor lawn party from dancing to local band The Venturas played covers of crowd-pleasing favorites including Frankie Vallie and the Four Season's 'Sherry Baby,' Etta James' 'Sunday Kind of Love,' Janice Joplin's 'Piece of My Heart' and of course, they played The Ventures. A beautiful sunset cooled things off, and ended the evening on a beautiful note.
