Students at Braden River Middle School celebrated Veterans Day with a special Veterans Day Flag Raising Ceremony Nov. 10 in the school's courtyard. The event featured patriotic performances by band, chorus and orchestra students, guest speakers and the unveiling of a new commemorative tile for the Veterans Wall of Honor, among other activities.

Lakewood Ranch Community Activities and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center offered education and fun at the Embrace a Life of Health and Wellness Expo Oct. 2. Attendees were able to participate in a variety of health-related screenings and peruse booths from local practices.
