Dear editor,
I am truly astonished at the inability of some people to appreciate Iran’s malevolence.
Turning the other cheek is a Christian value, not an Islamic one, and far from that of an Islamist, and it is not an option.
Iran has been at war with the U.S. (and Western civilization) since 1979, and it has killed several hundred Americans and thousands of Iranians who commit the cardinal crime of disagreeing with the government of the mullahs.
They are religious fanatics, who believe they are doing God’s work in spreading globally their extreme version of Islam.
Anyone who opposes them, including their own citizens, opposes Mohammed, at least in their view, which is punishable by death.
Refusing to wear a hijab or voicing an opinion disagreeing with the government is grounds for a death sentence.
So, they have no qualms killing or executing tens of thousands of their own people. They certainly have zero qualms killing Westerners whom they would classify as subhuman.
As bad as this is, they believe that a global war would hasten the return of the 12th Imam, uniting the entire world under their version of Islam, so they have religious reasons for seeking atomic weapons to promote such a catastrophe.
This isn’t a secret. They tell anyone who will listen.
Previous presidents who have been warned about this have stated publicly they would never permit Iran to develop a nuclear weapon, but they did nothing.
Regime change in Iran is the best outcome for our children, our country and the entire world.
