Details: This two-week summer experience will provide an opportunity for high school students to interact closely with faculty and medical students from the College of Medicine. In the first week, students will participate in hands-on laboratory activities and an interactive suture skills session with our LECOM surgeons. In the second week, students will receive basic first aid training, CPR training, stop the bleed training, tour Blake Hospital’s trauma bays, operating rooms, step down units, emergency medical helicopter, and interact with the medical flight crew.
