Trash to Treasure sale making its return

Everything from fun fashion to deals on furniture can be found at the upcoming Trash to Treasure rummage sale.

Get ready to shop the deals at this season's Trash to Treasure rummage sale.

The annual tradition is one of the biggest events of the year at The Gulfshore of Longboat Key mobile home park, where attendees have the chance to catch up with friends over refreshments and find good-quality, gently used items.

Susie Hettmansperger, one of the event's main organizers, said there is plenty to look forward to with this year's sale, particularly in the furniture section. She and Kim Fenwick have been organizing it since 2020.

The pre-sale is open to Gulfshore residents 4-5:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at the clubhouse. It will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 14. The community is located at 3710 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
