Disturbance: Responding to a call in reference to a disturbance, an officer encountered three offending juvenile males and one barely adult male loudly revving engines of pricey vehicles, disrupting the otherwise tranquil evening.
The subjects were seated inside a red Porsche, a red Ferrari and a white Mercedes AMG, for no apparent reason other than intentionally being a nuisance with the vehicles running and emanating noises that once would have suggested a muffler needed replacing.
None of the four were listed as living within the Sarasota city limit.
After obtaining their information, the officer was informed by the complainant who worked for a property that she had asked them to leave, but they refused and remained on the property. She asked to have all subjects be trespassed. As a result, they were informed that should they return they may face formal charges.

Disturbance: A woman convinced she was being followed and harassed by all airplanes and helicopters with Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport airspace, a postman delivering a package to her neighbor, a lawn company cutting grass in a nearby lot and Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies finally took out her frustration on the driver of a white pickup truck who parked near her in a pizza restaurant parking lot.
While entering into the parking lot she was driving behind a white truck. She entered the lot in the oncoming lane and “aggressively passed” the truck, according the incident report, before parking. The driver of the truck, meanwhile, backed into the space next to her, a practice that is generally enough to elicit anyone’s ire.
The woman then stepped out of her vehicle, stood in front of the truck and yelled at the driver, “I know you are following me!” She then reported the driver intentionally lurched the truck forward before stopping.
The complainant’s in-car video system recorded the alleged altercation, showing her verbally engaging the driver of the truck. It also recorded the truck moving forward, but was determined to not be with malicious intent, but rather adjusting its position within the space. The report also indicates it is common for large, diesel-powered vehicles slightly lurch forward when the brake is released because of high-idle torque inherent to diesel engines.
That matter settled, the officer turned attention toward the complainant, who claimed her mother is helping criminal organizations and unknown government entities follow and harass her. That prompted the officer to take her into protective custody.
