When people come to see us at the Ramos Center, they're often frustrated and worn down. They've tried different treatments, maybe even considered surgery, and they're tired of being told medication is the only answer. I get it. My job is to help people find relief from pain without relying on opiates or invasive surgery.

I'm board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, and I've spent more than twenty years helping people with everything from sciatica and chronic lower back pain to neck pain that radiates down the arm. What I tell my patients is simple: there are real, effective, minimally invasive options that can help them get their lives back.

Dr. Cassell sees the patients and develops a personalized plan, collaborating closely with Founder and Medical Director Dr. Fabian Ramos, an expert in interventional pain medicine who performs many of the advanced, minimally invasive procedures designed to bring relief. They work as a team to ensure each patient receives individualized care.

Common treatments include epidural steroid injections to calm inflammation, kyphoplasty to stabilize compression fractures, and radiofrequency ablation to disrupt pain-signaling nerves. For chronic vertebrogenic pain, the Intracept Procedure targets a tiny nerve inside the vertebra to stop pain at its source-no implant, no surgery.

What makes the Ramos Center different is our multi-disciplinary approach. Along with interventional procedures, we offer physical therapy, behavioral therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and addiction medicine support for patients tapering off medications safely.

Patients can usually be seen the next day, and our team of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners guide them through every step, ensuring comfort and clarity.

I talk to my patients the way I'd talk to a friend or family member-honestly and with compassion. My goal, and the goal of the Ramos Center, is to help our patients live pain-free, move freely, and get back to living their life!
