A home at 18826 Ganton Avenue in The Concession has become the second highest-priced sale ever in the Lakewood Ranch area.

The sale of the estate, which sold for $6.9 million, was announced Wednesday by the Schemmel Soda Group's Donna Soda, who marketed the home. Schemmel Soda is part of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

In 2022, the home at 8499 Lindrick Lane in The Concession became the highest-priced home in the Lakewood Ranch area when it sold for $7.98 million.

Soda now has three of the highest-priced homes to sell in the 34202 area code, which includes The Concession and parts of Lakewood Ranch. The Ganton Avenue property closed Aug. 20.

The Ganton Avenue home, which is four-bedrooms, five baths and 6,599 square feet, was designed and built by John Cannon Homes. It is across the street from a preserve which increased its privacy and made it more attractive. A release on the sale noted the outdoor resort living area features a full kitchen with granite counters, a Lynx grill and Perlick beverage drawers, along with a drop-down 75-inch rotating television. The outdoor area includes an infinity pool and spa and a lake view.

“This estate represents the very best of Lakewood Ranch living, where architectural excellence and refined design come together in a truly remarkable setting,” Soda said in the release. “I am proud to see it achieve a milestone result for our market."
