Your Weekly Taste: Lobster Pound

This time of year we see many locals jet off to New England for cooler temps and fresh seafood feasts. But we have a secret — you don't need to buy a plane ticket to get a taste from the North. Just head to The Lobster Pound on State Road 70 in Bradenton, where summer is served fresh.

Brining authentic New England seafood straight to our community, with a staff that hails from Long Island, New England, and even Lancaster, PA, patrons bites into fresh seafood options daily such as lobster rolls and tender cod to steamers, full belly clams and whole Maine lobsters (just to name a few) — plus there's always something special coming out of the kitchen.

Make it a weekday tradition with daily $3-off specials like lobster rolls on Tuesday, whole belly clams on Wednesday and fishermen’s baskets on Friday. No passport, no airfare, just pure New England comfort food right here in our neighborhood.
