The Resilient Retreat welcomed guests Jan. 11 to its Gathering Place for its Resilient Repartee, an event focused on health and well-being aimed at helping give attendees new strategies for self-care.
Speaker Krystel Beall shared her story of how she overcame trauma and developed skills to cope and thrive in her life. Beall is CEO/Owner of Krystel Clear, community outreach and philanthropy coordinator for Bealls Inc. and a board member for Resilient Retreat and No Blues News.
In addition to providing a healthy lunch of build-your-own bowls, the event aimed to help attendees learn new ways of healing, managing stress and empowering themselves daily.
Resilient Retreat’s mission is to help those impacted by trauma and abuse. It does this through free programs offered on its 84-acre campus in east Sarasota. Â
