It's no joke: WBTT goes calypso for April Fools' Fete

From rhythmic Calypso music to a dinner that took them to the Caribbean, guests were all in on the Calypso Carnival theme at Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe’s annual April Fools' Fete on April 1 at Michael’s On East.

Dressed in tropical prints of all varieties and colors, more than 300 guests enjoyed an evening filled with the sounds of WBTT’s live band, and were even invited to do the limbo at one point.

The event, co-chaired by Kimberly Parris and Lynne Ross, benefits WBTT’s education programs.
