Let it foam! Let it foam! Let it foam!

Bubbles and foam were launched in the air to resemble snow at Sarasota’s 26th annual holiday parade on Dec. 3.

The parade’s theme was winter wonderland. Tens of thousands gathered along Main street for the Florida style holiday cheer.

Holiday music blasted through speakers as parade goers applauded and cheered. School marching bands played rhythmic beats at a fortissimo. Countless dance groups did back handsprings and shimmied into a choreographed Christmas routine.

From Storm Troopers to alligators in Christmas hats, parade goers hollered at every float. Children stuck out Christmas stockings as they waited for parade cars to hand out holiday candies.

The annual holiday parade was hosted by Sarasota Holiday Celebrations and featured many local businesses, schools, groups and community members. Santa Claus made his appearance in the holiday parade before his busy day on the 25th.
