Shine On! was held April 12 at the Visible Men Academy campus.

The Visible Men Academy students weren’t the only ones who shined April 12 on the VMA campus.

Shine On! brought supporters to the grounds of the school in colorful, tropical attire to celebrate its educational mission and students. The school was founded to teach at-risk elementary and middle school boys and help them develop a strong character. The school’s motto, “S.H.I.N.E,” stands for selflessness, honesty, integrity, niceness and excellence.

The event kicked off with a vibrant cocktail hour then a welcome speech by several VMA students. Later, the students once again took the spotlight by reciting a poem.

A live auction and paddle raise ended the program before guests hit the dance floor and grooved to the sounds of DJ Tony Campos.
