Firefighters from Longboat Key are on the scene at the Players Club Condominiums, 1465 Gulf of Mexico Drive, following a fire alarm in the building.
Once at the location, firefighters discovered a faulty thermostat.
Crews are ventilating the room and checking for any other problems.
No injuries were reported, according to the town. The call was received around noon.
