Tara Country Club's social committee hosts a luncheon benefitting HOPE Family Services.

As much fun as Rosemary Jones had Nov. 5 at the annual Tara Country Club Social Committee Fashion Show. she couldn't wait to disperse money generated by the event.
Jones, a Social Committee member, said proceeds from the event, which included a luncheon, were staying local by going to HOPE Family Services.
"When we reach out to help people, we want to keep it in our community," said Jones. "HOPE is right in Manatee and Sarasota counties and their message is something we believe it. It's a great cause."
HOPE Family Services serves people with disabilities.
Tara Country Club members wore outfits from PJ's Boutique as they paraded in front of those attending the show.

Barbara DiPalma, the chair of the fashion show, Judy Harris and Judy Fuqua, the chair of the social committee, say it's important to give back to local charities.
Pat Battles, Barbara Conway, Linda Landry and Mary Carroll are looking forward to the fashion show.
Maureen Rudy, Deb King and Kathie Griffiths all are hoping they win with their raffle tickets.
Jan Zipp and Sandy Garen dress up to attend the fashion show, but are open to new styles they see.

Lynne Pollack lost 90 pounds before she walked in the Tara Fashion Show on Nov. 5.
Before Janet Goldberg walked in the fashion show, she was one of the Tara women in attendance at the fashion show to donate, with the total donation being approximately $400.
Barbara Ehnes wins a free pie from Yoder's Restaurant and Amish Village during the raffle.
