It was not a drill in Southside Village on Oct. 8. The heat was on for the 18th annual Morton's Firehouse Chili Cook-off.Â
Competitors cooked up their finest chili recipes as judges and patrons sampled submissions from fifteen firehouses from Sarasota, Longboat Key and surrounding areas.Â
Proceeds benefited the Sarasota Fire Fighters Benevolent Fund.
