The Child Protection Center invited community members to be its guests on Nov. 2 for its annual Pillar of Hope tasting and awareness event.

The atmosphere was light outside the center. After enjoying dishes from local vendors and live music, guests headed inside to learn about CPC's services.

"This is when we get to introduce a bunch of new people and new friends to Child Protection Center," Executive Director Douglas Staley told eventgoers. "When you see what happens inside you'll be motivated to become more involved and see what you can do to make a difference."
