Sarasota Grand Prix weighs anchor on Main

Residents and visitors get an up close look at Sarasota Grand Prix contestants.

Sarasota residents and visitors didn't have to get their feet wet to get up close and personal with the boats of the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix on June 30. 

Race contestants temporarily docked on Main Street for the Boats On Main downtown Sarasota block party. 

Eventgoers took pictures with and even signed some of the power boats set to participate in the races on July 1 and July 2.
