Alta Vista travels down reading Street

Students read outside during the annual event.

Alta Vista Elementary School students put on their thinking caps Dec. 12 and headed outside for the second annual Reading Street event. Sidewalks were named for well-known authors such as "Dr. Seuss Street" and "Roald Dahl Drive" as students curled up with their blankets and books for a day of reading.
